Chicane was once again a finalist in the SPIRITO DI VINO International Illustration Competition, a satirical cartoon contest centering on the world and culture of wine.
My ‘Wine & Cheese Trap’ cartoon was one of 26 selected for the 22nd edition of this popular event, and it was included in the exhibition, the catalogue and a bespoke 2022 Spirito di Vino Calendar. The exhibit took place from 11 December – 9 January in the gallery of the Santa Maria dei Battuti in Cividale del Friuli in northeastern Italy, between the Adriatic Sea and the Alps, amongst some of the world’s finest vineyards and Baroque-Renaissance art and architecture. It is organisd annually by the Movimento Turismo del Vino Friuli Venezia Giulia.
